During 2019 we visited 15 countries, including Vietnam, Egypt, the Canary Islands, the Netherlands, the US, Canada, Austria, Switzerland and Slovakia, and we touched down at airports in a few others.
We saw huge metropolises such as Ho Chi Minh City and Cairo, and experienced life in dots on the map, with names such as Borinka and Brill.

Inspiring, Kirsty & Lawrie. Beats the hell out of caravaning! I look forward to ready your updates.
Thanks Mike. We couldn’t agree more. Glad you’re enjoying the site.
Well done to both of you. Not an easy decision for others but I believe easy enough for you guys. I’m enthralled and jealous to tell you the truth. The reason being I’m hamstrung with my CIDP illness which hit me out of left field. I am just about to start back at square one re treatment, so putting travel on the back burner. Here’s where Lawrie and Kirsty do my travelling for me! I love readind your blog and seeing where you are. Lawrie and I go back to teenage years and I hope to catch up again one day mate. This is one way of doing it and I appreciate your updates and the professionalism of this website
Take care both of you and enjoy . Cheers. Mick
Hi Mick. Thanks for your very encouraging comments and for following along as we continue on this somewhat crazy journey. If you had told me 12 months ago that I’d be sitting in Cairo doing this, I probably would have thought you needed to be committed to somewhere with padded walls. Maybe I do!! Good luck with your new treatment and we will try to stay in the loop via Facebook. Hopefully we will be in Bendigo some time over Christmas and there will be time to say hello in person. Kirsty sends her good wishes along with mine. All good thoughts. –Lawrie.
